Hi Michigan Circle K’ers! My name is Jared Immel and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to serve as your 2020-2021 Governor. A little bit about me; I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in a small town called Munising. For those of you that were in Key Club, this does mean that I was a part of WUM and there will always be a special place in my heart for that district. I joined Key Club my sophomore year of high school and served as the Director of Committees and President in that club. I fell in love with the Kiwanis Family from the first day I joined Key Club and have not stopped giving my all to this family since day one. I carried my love and passion for the K-Fam to MSU where I am studying Elementary Education with a minor in Leadership of Organizations.

Throughout this next Circle K Service year, Michigan Circle K is striving to make big changes that are going to increase our overall quality of the district. MICKI will be seeing major changes to the website making it more modern and user-friendly, as well as changes in the leadership style that works to serve the individual clubs in what they need the most. In order to have a strong district, we need to have a strong community and we believe that this approach is the key to strengthening our district and creating a better experience for our members. I am also introducing a new aspect to the district of a Governor’s Project and I am super excited to announce that this year’s Governor’s Project is Kid’s Coalition Against Hunger. Find out how to get involved under the ‘service’ tap at the top of the page.
